On September 16, a meeting of the Admissions Committee of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets, during which the results of the admission campaign in 2022 were summarized, in particular the stage of enrolling applicants for the contract form of education. Despite the war, the admissions campaign at NMU is running on time, and the employees of the University are fully prepared for the new and non-standard conditions of today.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the PC, rector of NMU Yury Kuchyn, deputy chairman, first vice-rector Oleksandr Naumenko, vice-rectors Rimma Skrypnyk, Oleg Vlasenko and Oleksandr Kanyura, deans of faculties Volodymyr Melnyk, Oksana Vygovska, Ruslan Tsimbalyuk, Natalia Kozak, Vasyl Aleksiychuk, Tetiana Reva, Nataliya Bidenko, Myroslava Filonenko, Oksana Parfyonova, head of the trade union committee Liliya Yaremenko, executive secretary of the PC Maksym Prystupyuk and his deputies.
The Chairman of the Admissions Committee, opening the meeting, noted the coordinated work of all University employees who participated in the organization and conduct of this year’s difficult admissions campaign. After all, powerful results are the joint work of everyone.
In turn, the deputy chairman spoke in detail about the features of the introductory campaign. Summarizing the preliminary results of the admissions campaign, we can proudly say that for the first time in the last 5 years, the University has fulfilled the state order plan, and there was considerable competition for some specialties.
In today’s difficult and non-standard conditions, more than 2,100 first-year students will receive their education at the National Medical University.
Therefore, on the basis of the protocols of the Admissions Committee and the relevant orders, the following 859 students were enrolled in the first year of the University under the state order and 1246 – on a contract basis.
The rector of NMU signed the enrollment orders, so future doctors will begin a new important stage in their lives on October 1. Talented, ambitious and promising applicants are completing the submission of original documents to our University and are waiting for the start of their studies. The new generation of freshmen represents all 24 regions of Ukraine, including Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
At the same time, the 2022 admissions campaign continues. The recruitment of students for part-time study in the specialties “Management in the field of health care”, “Public health”, “Pharmacy, industrial pharmacy” continues, and the campaign for foreign students continues.
