NMU STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE EUROPEAN PHARMACEUTICAL ASSEMBLY
At the beginning of November, students of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the National Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets visited the Autumn Assembly organized by the European Pharmaceutical Student Association. The congress was held in the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, in Greece. The participants’ program consisted of two symposia, a workshop and a training of their choice. As part of the visit, the participants had the opportunity to visit the APIVITA and DOCTOR’S LABS pharmaceutical factories.
Participant Nataliya Petryk said that as part of their participation in the Assembly, they got to know new people who are student pharmacists from other countries. The future pharmacist was impressed by a visit to one of the largest cosmetology factories in Greece – “APIVITA”, which made it possible for her to understand in which direction she should move professionally.
A student of our University, Lilia Mykhaylovska, emphasized that the participants received a lot of useful information while attending important EPSA events. And the opportunity to communicate with many European associations and represent Ukraine at a high European level is honorable and responsible.
In turn, another member of the official delegation from Ukraine, Anastasia Sobolevska, noted that the Ukrainian participants had the opportunity to establish ties with many European student associations and show the high level of training of our students.
It should be noted that EPSA (European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association) is an association of pharmaceutical students consisting of 36 countries. This year, our female students of the Faculty of Pharmacy represented Ukraine at an international event.
